「責任ある鉱業保証イニシアティブ（IRMA）」とは何ですか？
The Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance (IRMA) is an internationally recognized voluntary assurance program aiming to improve mining operations’ performance. SCS Global Services Europe B.V. is one of three approved IRMA auditing and certification bodies and has certified numerous mines in Europe to the comprehensive IRMA standard.
Mine sites in Europe that choose to invest in an IRMA assessment have their environmental and social performance measured by SCS Global Services Europe B.V.’s independent audit teams. IRMA assessments dig deep, with over 400 requirements, including human rights, air and water quality, occupational health and safety, financial security, and community contribution and investment.

責任ある採掘の検証
IRMA規格は、異なるパフォーマンスレベル（IRMA50、75、100）を認識し、4つの主要分野の基準によって検証されたIRMA100を達成した鉱山に認証が与えられます：

- まず、当社の審査チームがIRMA申請書と鉱山サイトの自己評価を確認します。これにより、貴社の業務（その複雑性と関連要件）を理解し、認証取得に向けた道しるべとします。各審査が始まる前に、証拠の準備チェックを行うことで、サイトチームは審査に備えることができます。
- 次に、IRMA基準に対する証拠の文書レビューを行います。ステージ1またはデスクトップ・レビューとも呼ばれるこのステップのアウトプットは、アセスメント・スコアと所見の最初のドラフト記録です。
- このステップでは、監査員が鉱山のスケジュールや安全手順に適合した訪問を計画し、その事業が実際にIRMA基準にどのように適合しているかを文書化します。第2段階アセスメントとも呼ばれ、当社の監査チームは、事業所とその文化的・生態学的環境を視察し、客観的証拠を確認し、鉱山の従業員、請負業者、利害関係者にインタビューを行い、IRMA基準の実践への適合性を検証します。
- この最終ステップでは、評価の第1段階と第2段階で検証された鉱山サイトのパフォーマンスをまとめた報告書を作成します。採掘現場チームの承認後、この報告書はIRMAシステム（50、75、100など）内で管理審査と受入れのために最終化され、認証決定を下すことができます。
